Sezairi has won the hearts of many with his boy-next-door charm and musicality. A great live performer and musician, Sezairi is a class act.

Inheriting genes from his father, an avid audiophile, Sezairi first discovered music at the tender age of only 5 years old. His very first song was Isabella, a Malay rock song popularized by the band Search in the 90s. He soon found himself sharing the same love for music. At the age of 14, he picked up the guitar to accompany his singing which soon led him to form the band Juxtapose, with him as frontman. Here, he was first able to hone his skills as not only a musician, but a songwriter and performer. It helped prepare him for what was to come in the Singapore Idol series, a competition he won in 2009.

Sezairi's debut album "Take Two" was released in June 2010. "Broken", Sezairi's first single, was the highest ranking Asian song of 2010 on 987FM, one of Singapore's top pop radio stations.

In 2016, Sezairi released his first ever full-English EP. The 6 track extended play was meticulously crafted to illuminate Sezairi’s personal journey and evolution as a musical artist over the past few years. The infectious lead single ‘Fire To The Floor’ claimed the #1 spot on Spotify’s Viral 50 Chart within a week of its release on June 10th, and even managed to retain the #1 spot for 2 consecutive weeks. Besides “Fire To The Floor”, ‘Sezairi EP’ was 100% written by Sezairi and produced in Bandung by top Indonesian producer and personal friend Ari Renaldi, with Sezairi co-producing.

His next release, the undeniably catchy single ‘70s’, took local charts by storm and claimed the #2 spot on

Spotify’s SG Viral 50 Chart within a week of it’s release. The feel-good tune also found its way into Taiwan, Hong Kong & Philippines. The track charted on Indonesia’s iTunes and Spotify Viral 50 charts at #16 and #20 respectively, all while garnering over 409,000 listens on Spotify.

Not resting on his laurels, Sezairi paid a visit to Sweden, where he tirelessly worked with notable producers/writers to bring to life the next chapter of his story; the evocative ballad ‘It’s You’. The track achieved the #1 spot on Spotify’s SG and MY Viral 50 Chart within a week of its release and peaked at #3 on the Indonesia iTunes chart. The accompanying music video, directed by Randy Ang of ‘1965’ film and shot by multi-award winning Director of Photography Jack Chen, has reached over 300,000 views. The ballad definitely struck a chord with many of his fans, surpassing 11 million listens online and has acquired the GOLD certification since its release. In December 2018, ‘It’s You’ was featured Apple Music’s “Best of 2018: Editors’ Picks” Global Playlist, where it sat comfortably on the 3rd spot amongst some of the year’s most identifiable and noteworthy songs.

Sezairi shows off his versatility by moving seamlessly from an emotional ballad to the irresistible pop groove ‘Mirage’. The funky pop single, written with producers Brooke Toia and Harry Sommerdahl, has racked up over a million plays on Spotify to date.

His first single release of 2019 cements Sezairi’s role as part of Singapore’s pop royalty: the instantly addictive “In Secret” gained over 108,000 streams on Spotify in its first month. The single is also accompanied by a visually arresting music video shot in Japan and directed by Nasri Lian from Point8Cam.

In early 2020, Sezairi released his EP ‘Undertones’ – which features previous hits ‘It’s You’, ‘Mirage’, ‘In Secret’; as well as brand new dance-worthy single ‘She Moves’. ‘Undertones’ is a body of work exploring the complex thematics of perception and candour. As Sezairi puts it, these songs represent his own personal experiences with the mania of falling in love. A confident songwriter and passionate musician, Sezairi’s songs are a cathartic and pure expression of himself. He confidently tackles romance with flair, putting his soul into funky synths and new wave beats. Listeners are offered a peek into his heart with honest and introspective lyrics, where love is passionate, youthful, and tender all at once. To date, ‘Undertones’ has garnered over 13 million listens online.
